How Tracking Works & Understanding Your Shipment Status

Every parcel and commercial consignment booked through IDR Courier is assigned a unique tracking identifier at the moment of booking. As your shipment moves through our surface line-haul network, each operating transit hub logs electronic scans.

    Tracking Status Milestones:

    Step 1

    Manifested / Booked

Your consignment has been registered in the digital logistics system. A unique AWB or LR number has been generated.

    Step 2

    Picked Up & Hub Inwarded

Our executive has collected your sender-packed carton, verified dimensions, and inwarded it into the regional transit hub.

    Step 3

    In Transit (Line-Haul)

Your shipment is actively moving via dedicated surface container line-haul towards the destination city distribution hub.

    Step 4

    Out for Delivery

The package has reached the local delivery center and is out with the delivery executive for final doorstep handover.

    Service Policy

Packaging Guidelines & Transit Liability Terms

To ensure your parcel stays intact throughout line-haul transit and barcode scans remain readable, please follow our packaging guidelines:

    πŸ“¦ Mandatory Self-Packing

IDR Courier provides transport carriage only. We do not provide packing services, bubble wrap, or corrugated carton boxes. Senders must self-pack and securely seal all luggage, cartons, and goods prior to collection.

    • Use 5-ply or 7-ply heavy corrugated cartons
    • Wrap delicate goods in multiple layers of bubble wrap
    • Reinforce all edges and bottom flaps with 2-inch wide tape

    πŸ›‘οΈ No Transit Insurance

IDR Courier does not provide transit insurance coverage. All consignments are transported under standard carriage terms strictly at the sender's own risk (owner's risk). Senders shipping valuable or delicate items should arrange independent third-party transit insurance.

    • Carriage moves strictly on owner's risk terms
    • Carrier liability is restricted to standard conditions of carriage
    • Ensure extra internal cushioning for fragile articles

    🏷️ Dual Address Labeling

Clear labeling eliminates misrouting and barcode scan errors. Senders must affix a printed shipping label on the exterior of the box, with an additional backup sheet placed inside the carton.

    • Complete destination address with 6-digit PIN code
    • Working 10-digit mobile numbers of both sender and receiver
    • Keep the outer barcode clean, flat, and scratch-free

    🚫 Prohibited Items Policy

In accordance with surface transport safety regulations, hazardous and contraband goods are strictly prohibited from shipment via IDR Courier.

    • No flammable liquids, gas cylinders, or fireworks
    • No loose currency notes, bullion, gold, or silver
    • No illegal, restricted, or hazardous chemical compounds

Frequently Asked Questions β€” Consignment Tracking

Find answers to common questions regarding tracking updates, AWB vs LR numbers, delivery attempts, and customer support.

An AWB (Waybill Number) is used for individual courier parcel shipments. An LR Number (Lorry Receipt Number) is used for B2B bulk freight and cargo shipments. Both are unique tracking references issued at the time of booking.

Your Waybill or LR Number is shared with you at the time of booking confirmation, usually via WhatsApp or SMS. It is also printed on the physical or digital receipt handed over during doorstep collection.

If your shipment was booked very recently, it may take a few hours for the first scan to appear in the system. The initial scan is recorded once your parcel is physically received and weighed at our regional transit hub.

This page tracks one Waybill or LR Number at a time. For commercial B2B clients requiring bulk tracking of multiple consignments, please contact our business support desk on WhatsApp.

Deliveries typically occur between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. If a delivery attempt could not be completed due to premises being closed, incomplete address, or recipient unavailability, a re-attempt is automatically scheduled for the next business day. You can also message our WhatsApp helpline with your AWB number for priority assistance.

No. IDR Courier does not provide transit insurance coverage. All consignments are transported under standard carriage terms strictly at the sender's own risk (owner's risk). Senders shipping delicate or high-value items are advised to pack with sturdy protective cushioning and arrange independent insurance if required.

Scans are updated whenever the consignment arrives at, is sorted inside, or departs from an operating regional transshipment hub. During long-distance surface transit between distant states, scans may remain at "In Transit" until arrival at the next intermediate hub.
